A total of 134.4 billion yuan worth of epidemic prevention materials were released on March 1, 2016, according to data released by the general administration of customs on May 17.

Of these, 50.9 billion were masks. 216 million pieces of protective clothing; 81.03 million pairs of goggles; Novel coronavirus testing kits for 162 million people; 72,700 ventilators; 177,000 patient monitors; 26.43 million infrared thermometers; 1.04 billion pairs of surgical gloves.

The main export destinations of epidemic prevention materials are the United States, Germany, Japan, France and Italy. General trade accounts for 94%, valued at 126.3 billion yuan.

The export of China's epidemic prevention materials has provided support and guarantee for the international community's joint fight against the epidemic, demonstrating the responsibility of a responsible major country.
